There is a version of this course that would hand you a simple table: load board name, price, rating, done.
That version would feel efficient and immediately forget itself, the way a grocery list does the moment you walk out of the store without it.
This is not that version.
The reason dispatchers need to understand load boards at a deeper level than a comparison chart can provide is the same reason a surgeon needs to understand anatomy rather than just the names of instruments.
The tool is only as useful as the knowledge guiding its use. A dispatcher who knows that DAT has the most loads is armed with a fact. A dispatcher who knows why Truckstop consistently wins on flatbed freight - and what that means for the carriers they represent, and how that changes their negotiation - is armed with expertise.
